[edit] Forms
[edit] Simple fields
Open ERP manages the following types of simple fields:
- Characters
- Bloc Text
- Numbers
- Numbers with decimals,...
[edit] Date fields
When you click on the magnifying glass, the calender opens so you can choose a precise date.
[edit] Unique-relation fields
This field indicates a relation towards another card. If this other card already exists, you can type part of the name in the text field and press ENTER. If it finds the resource, it fills the name automatically. Otherwise, it opens a research page for adding other criteria.
Once the link with this other file is established,
allow you to open the file in question and you are able to modify it.
If the file doesn't exist,
allows you to create a new one.
[edit] Multi-relation fields
In a file, you can attach one or more links that match with the search. You can add, modify or cancel a link. By registering part of the category and while clicking on ENTER, the name of the category is registered or the name is proposed to you including the letters you indicated.
[edit] Multi-relation fields, list version
In a file, you can also integrate the list form of the categories (invoices, produced order...). It is the same principle to start a research. You can also cancel, modify or remove the link.
[edit] Multi-relation fields, form version
In a file, it is possible to create several fields in the form such as addresses. At any moment, you can remove, add or modify the selected field or the field contents.
[edit] Default fields (1)
If some fields are not set Open uses company defaults.
Example: For partners and product, if the account is not provided it uses the one from (the company default, or the category of product). That's for po, so and invoices.
Module: Administration Menu: Administration / Custom / Properties
[edit] Default fields (2)
Right mouse click on a field allows to set default values for the user or for all users.
