[edit] History of Open ERP
The development of Open ERP started in 2000 by Fabien Pinckaers. The first Integration was made in the beginning of 2002 with the Saleroom Flagey (CA 2Mo EUR), with 7 full time users.
The ERP was proposed at the Public Sale-rooms Market because it was very specific and no ERP existed in this field. In 2004, the OpenERP company became a leader in management programs for public sales in Belgium.
Open ERP is now successfully used in specialized bookshops, distributive firms and service companies. Till the end of 2004, Fabien Pinckaers was the only developer, integrator and salesman of Open ERP. In September 2004 (when he ended his studies), other programmers got engaged for the development and the sale of Open ERP.
February 1, 2005, Open starts to offer second level support and trainings related to Open ERP. A network of retailer is created, while beginning in France.
