The company Open SPRL was founded in 2002. It continues the activities of Web Developement asbl, also Co-founded and managed by Fabien Pinckaers, since 1998.

All the products of the free company , are published under the same GPL license, all the developers of Open sprl are impassioned of free software. But the free software was never a product for the Open company in this direction which the Open company always presents compared to its products and not in service company in free software. The products are directly put in competition with the commercial products and very often, the products are developed under Linux, and Windows.

The speciality of .be is the development of high level, free, applications for companies. In the products of Open.be, we find: Open ERP (ERP & CRM for small and medium enterprises), Open eCommerce (complete eCommerce system), OpenReport (automated production of complex documents), Open Raytracer...

The greatest sources of income of Open SPRL are:

• [| Auction-in-Europe]:Auction-in-Europe: leader of art in Belgium (eCommerce, CMS, dB arts, newspapers publications...)
• Developments of applications and website

At the end of 2004, the company employed 5 persons. In 2005, this number is growing up. Since the beginning, the company is self-financed.
