Partners are customers, suppliers or prospects. Each partner is represented by one record, which can contain a list of contacts and their individual information, such as phone number, e-mail etc. Partners can be divided into categories. The event history (purchase, help desk etc.) of a partner is attached to it's record.

Partners Editor is divided into two parts: tabs (on the left) and actions menu (on the right). Below are snap shots of action menu and the various tabs along with a brief explanation:

[edit] Partner record fields:
| Identifier:
| The intern log or reference of the partner. Optional.

| VAT:
| Number of Value Added Tax (VAT)
|
| Contact address:
| Different contact persons for this partner.
|
| Address Type:
| One of invoicing, shipping, contact, default or other.
|
| Categories:
| The categories which the partner belongs to. They can be defined manually or automatically assigned by segmentation (CRM module).

| Notes:
| Free text note.
|
| Event History:
| Any action taken involving a partner is recorded in their event history. examples of actions are a sale, a business opportunity or a help desk task.

| Address Type:
| Allows you to select the address needed for each purpose: address of invoice , of shipping, of contact, by default or others. You have to select a field in the main menu 'Address type'. One contact person might have several addresses, you can easily add one with the "+" button on the right side.
