- Based on
- If "Product" is selected, the calculation is computed from the listprice entered in the product form. If "Pricelist" is selected, the calculation is based on another pricelist (e.g. a pricelist can be set up to give discounts on quantities. In sale time, another pricelist can be applied to all products to add an discount of 20%. In this situation, the second pricelist is based on the first one).
For each of the 3 prices defined in the product form, it is possible to calculate new prices based on elaborated rules:
- The final price can be based on any of the 3 prices defined in the Product form: e.g. A discount price can based on the listprice (listprice -20%), a listprice can be based on the standard price on which a markup is added (standard price +30%), a limit price can be based on the listprice (listprice -30%).
- The calculation can include a percentage: To offer a 20% discount, the calculation of the new listprice is: Listprice * (1 - 0.2).
- The calculation can include a fixed amount: If the product is send by mail, it is possible to add a lump sum of 10 euros for the box and the post expense. The new list price would be calculated as such: Listprice + 10.
- Rounding method
- Used if the price must be rounded (e.g. In Finland, the change must be rounded to 5 cents because coins of 1 and 2 cents are not used anymore).
