Once the procurement requirement has been generated for a given customer order, the goods are reserved automatically before being shipped. Another way to reserve goods is to manually reserve them so as to avoid any new customer order to assign them.

| Name: | Designation of the reservation (automatically filled if coming from a procurement requirement) |
| Date created: | Date when the reservation was made |
| Planned date: | Date when the reservation ought to be assigned |
| Priority: | Level of priority used to rank reservations in case some of them are conflicting |
| Product: | Product to be reserved |
| Product UOM: | Unit of measure automatically filled from the sales order |
| Quantity: | Quantity of products reserved automatically filled from the sales order |
| Location: | Location where the product is reserved |
| Dest. Location: | For information, where the product will be moved in the next step |
